Multiplication Facts Websites
The following are websites with games to help kids memorize their multiplication facts. These games should spice things up and make learning fun!
The website Multiplication.com has 35 colorful, interactive, multiplication games. Most of the games allow you to select what facts you would like to practice or let you to choose easy, medium, or hard problems. Players are shown a multiplication problem and select the correct answer from four or five choices. The games are different enough from each other to make them all worth playing. Some of the games have reward mini-games after passing the multiplication game.
Funbrain has a fun multiplication game called Math Baseball. Select from four difficulty levels, and type in the answers to multiplication problems to hit the ball and score runs. You can even play against a friend!
Learning Planet’s Spacey Math game quizzes kids on their multiplication facts beginning with the 1s and going up each level through the 9s. Levels 10 and up cover all the fact families. You have 4 seconds to answer each multiplication fact. If you run out of time or get the answer wrong, the enemy spaceship moves closer. After you miss a few problems the game is over.
Prongo’s Lemonade Larry game has kids figure out the total cost of lemonade by multiplying the number of cups the customer would like by the price of lemonade. The price of lemonade and the number of cups changes with each customer.
Academic Skill Builders’ Meteor Multiplication game has students shoot the meteors that have multiplication problems which match the answer that is on the star station. To choose the problem range, highlight the from and to numbers and type in the numbers you would like. After each level, it will show any problems that have been missed.
Sheppard Software’s Fruit Shoot Multiplication game let’s you choose the fact family or range to practice. Shoot as many fruit with the correct product as you can in a minute.
