Go on a Musical Quest
Kids can go on a music quest, learn about musical instruments and composers, arrange music, and play music games on the New York Philharmonic’s interactive website Kidzone. On the music game MusiQuest, kids play the role of a summer intern working at the New York Philharmonic. First, select which type of instrument you would like to play: bassoon, percussion, viola, or trumpet. Then learn about the instrument you chose, and play music mini-games while exploring the Philharmonic building. This educational website is best for kids 8 and older, but younger kids will enjoy some of the activities.
